Acute Illnesses: Management of sudden illnesses such as infections, fever, respiratory issues (cold, Flu, strep throat, allergies), and gastrointestinal problems like abdominal pain, stomach bugs or food poisoning.

Exacerbations of Chronic Conditions: Addressing flare-ups or worsening of chronic conditions like asthma, COPD, diverticulosis, diabetes, and hypertension.

Diagnostic Services: We have availability of diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and other imaging studies to quickly identify the cause of urgent symptoms and guide treatment decisions.

Medication Management: Immediate prescription and administration of medications to manage acute symptoms and conditions. This includes pain relief, antibiotics, and other necessary treatments.

Urgent matters at Center for Internal Medicine are managed with a focus on providing timely and effective care for acute health issues that require immediate attention but are not life-threatening emergencies. No need to use an emergency room.
